Just as the Siu Ying Yi (Sec. IV) is a rare form of Southern Intellectual Fist (Hsing I Ch'uan) that was modified by S. 5-Animal Shaolin, the Pow Chin Ch'uan is a rare form of Shantung style Hsing I Ch'uan reworked by Northern 5-Animal Shaolin. As such, it has elements of both styles and is consequently able to develop qualities in fighting not readily available in other forms. It emphasizes the ''Yang'' movements of Hsing I and is therefore, very powerful in appearance. A real unique power builder in a variety of techniques.
