| Section V: Advanced Empty Hand Forms |
Advanced Level Students Although the basis for classifying forms varies widely between different schools and styles, the following forms could be considered advanced by almost any standard of measure. They are complex in their construction, are difficult to perform correctly at high speed, and require intensive practice to execute smoothly especially when combining power with finesse in the classical Chinese manner. They will prove to be highly productive to any dedicated Kung-Fu student regardless of previous experience. Most are priced at $39.95, the other eight are very special sets for many different reasons, are ideal for tournament performance or public demonstration (except the Tom Toi), have unusual characteristics or background, are either "Master", "Third Level" or "Closed Door" forms, and, as far as we can determine are known only to the Green Dragon program!! Hence, we have priced these slightly higher.

| Dai Hung Kuen (76 Step ) | $39.95 | |
| Choy Li Fut | |
| | Primarily advanced in classification because of the stamina required to complete it while maintaining full power and good speed all the way through. Known in some circles as the 76 Step set, since the master who introduced it from the Orient taught it with that many counts-- it is actually longer! Strong Choy Li Fut influence, especially in stancework, and definitely builds energy into the body over time.

| Er Lu Mai Fu Ch'uan | $39.95 | |
| Honan Shaolin | |
| | Dynamic set usually taught with the middle group of forms in the series of 12-16 sets comprising the first several years of training in Honan Shaolin. Classic, Northern, on-line form with moves combined with sweeps, hidden techniques, and long range attacks employing jumping and hopping. Excellent program of combat applications may be extracted from this set.
| Southern Hsing I Ch'uan | |
| | Just as the Siu Ying Yi (Sec. IV) is a rare form of Southern Intellectual Fist (Hsing I Ch'uan) that was modified by S. 5-Animal Shaolin, the Pow Chin Ch'uan is a rare form of Shantung style Hsing I Ch'uan reworked by Northern 5-Animal Shaolin. As such, it has elements of both styles and is consequently able to develop qualities in fighting not readily available in other forms. It emphasizes the ''Yang'' movements of Hsing I and is therefore, very powerful in appearance. A real unique power builder in a variety of techniques.

| Hung | |
| | The ''closed door'' form of the more commonly seen Taming the Tiger set from Hung Style. One of the most demanding strength building sets still in existence from the Chinese Fighting Arts. Performed primarily under severe tension (isotonic), the Goun Gee lasts some 5 minutes when done correctly and builds great stamina for any aspect of fighting. It will harden the whole body in a matter of weeks imparting much more physical power along all major routes used in self-defense. It is the highest level combined internal/external exercise set on which one can train before going to any of the advanced power programs such as Iron Vest or Stone Warrior. When used after or in combination with the Teet Lo Han Chin Ch'uan, an enormous gain in physical strength and muscular size can take place!
| Teet Lo Han Chin Ch'uan | $39.95 | |
| Iron Buddha | |
| | The little known master internal/external strength development set from the Iron Buddha style. The form is divided into 3 sections, the first and third divisions being isotonic and ''external'' in character, the second division containing a special ''ch'i tricking'' internal exercise that distributes the internal power of the body out through the joints of the arms and legs where it can be used for fighting and/or health enhancement! This is a closed door form that was kept secret for hundreds of years and has produced remarkable results in Green Dragon students over the past 20 years.
| Teet Lo Han Kung-Tzu Ch'uan | $39.95 | |
| Iron Buddha | |
| | has many combat applications. Dynamic fighting form from the Iron Buddha style. One of four very rare sets taught in the Southern 5-Animal system. Very demanding form. Quick directional changes, several 270 degree flying crescent kicks, a wide variety of movements. Emphasizes the combined block/strike bridge arm move for which the Iron Buddha masters were especially noted. Builds excellent power
| Southern 5-Animal Shaolin | |
| | very very productive Long combined animal set of Southern Shaolin 5-Animal derivation. Tremendous variety of attack and defense patterns as would be expected in an advanced multiple animal form. Containing techniques of the Tiger, Leopard, Snake, Crane and Dragon, this set is more complex and demanding than much of the Tiger-Crane material more commonly found around the U.S. Some 70 steps in length
| Pai Hao Fan Tui She | $49.95 | |
| Crane | |
| | White Crane of Wu Mei An exceptional and very rare White Crane set from Southern Shaolin Li Hua Ch'uan of Wu Mei origination. Smooth, fluid, artistic, and sophisticated in appearance. Stays predominantly on the ground (not much flying movement), and emphasizes intricate and graceful hand technique. Outstanding pure animal form in every respect. We have received many complimentary letters on this and the Snake form which follows from instructors and students alike, many of whom were trained in these styles and yet say that these are the best two forms of this kind they have ever seen!! Highly recommended
| Pai T'ou She Ta Ts'ung Shih | $49.95 | |
| Southern 5-Animal Shaolin | |
| | White Headed Snake Strikes Out from the Rock A set from Southern 5-Animal Shaolin that is very fast and dramatic in appearance! One of the best and most exciting authentic Snake forms at any level. Not the exercise variety--this is a pure fighting form in every sense. Excellent combined block/attack sequences in the typical staccato fashion associated with true Snake. Rapid strikes concentrate on the eyes, throat, and groin. Execution is low and quick, both on and off line. Highly recommended

| Tams | |
| | This first one in the series of ''hard style'' Tams forms is the Southern counterpart to the Northern Kung Li Ch'uan. Unlike the so called ''springy-leg'' version, both this and the Din Dah Kuen that follows are designed expressly for building RAW POWER in all types of movement! Tams practitioners are famous for their strength, most of which is derived from constant practice on these three forms. Like the three Long Fist sets above, these three actually represent an entire fighting system in and of themselves!
| Tams | |
| | Sister form to the Goun Lick Kuen and known as Dwun Da Ch'uan in the North, it is done with the same rock hard exertion required of all properly executed Tams material. As would be expected, it has different movements and emphasis in applications. Excellent for individual or group drill by the numbers.
| Tams | |
| | A very long set (200+ steps!) designed to rapidly build strength and power into every aspect of punching, blocking, kicking & striking. It is structured in 12 sets which move up and down line through a distance of from 15' to 30', with the combinations of the drill changing with each set. Fantastic for increasing muscular power pertaining to self-defense, while at the same time representing literally thousands of applications! Fabulous drill for advanced beginners and intermediates. Certainly one of the most comprehensive hard style sets in existence. The Tom Toi has been so valued by the Chinese over the centuries that some form of the Tom Toi (Tam Tui, etc.) is taught in most major systems.
| Pai Lien Chien Lien Chang | $49.95 | |
| White Lotus | |
| | Continuous Palms Rare set from White Lotus System. Very fast series of non-stop compound circular movements from beginning to end. Hundreds of possible applications to extract. Dazzling in appearance when performed at high speed. Fantastic to instruct classic Chinese ''whirlwind'' type movement with proper angular and step-around maneuvering. Kung-Fu circularity at its best. Excellent to train on in combination with Small Fire Dragon (Sec. IV). Highly recommended.
| Pei Hou Hsi Cheng Chien Pen | $49.95 | |
| Northern Monkey | |
| | Uncommon set of Northern Monkey style that exists in a number of versions-- this one is one of the best and most difficult. Classic simian movement with all of the characteristic gestures, postures, mannerisms, and unusual combat applications. Considerable jumping as well as ground rolling technique. Very, very active and dynamic form.
| Meng Lung Pai Hu Yu (White Dragon ) | $49.95 | |
| Northern White Dragon | |
| | Little known Northern White Dragon set from Northern 5-Animal Shaolin. ''Closed door'' form which employs the traditional 5-fingered Dragon Claw hand position throughout the entire form. Set is very volatile, i.e., constant turning, twisting, and hopping in the maneuvering while the claw hands are used for a wide variety of ripping, tearing, grabbing, and breaking moves at the same time! As with our pure Snake & Crane fighting sets, most instructors & students have found this Dragon form to be unique in many respects, making other more common Dragon material look ''tame'' by contrast. The finest of its kind and not available elsewhere. Highly recommended
